And Mary said, ‘My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in
God my Savior, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed;
for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.’”
Luke 1:46-49
Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for Purity
O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Virgin Most Pure, mindful of the terrible moral dangers threatening on all sides, and aware
of my own human weakness, I voluntarily place myself, body and soul, this day and always, under thy loving maternal care and
protection. I consecrate to thee my body, with all its members, asking thee to help me never to use it as an occasion of sin
to others. Help me to remember that my body is the "Temple of the Holy Ghost," and to use it according to God's Holy Will
for my own personal salvation, and the salvation of others. I consecrate to thee my soul, asking thee to watch over it, and
to bring it home safe to thee and to Jesus in Heaven for all eternity. O Mary, my Mother, all that I am, all that I have is
thine. Keep me and guard me under thy mantle of mercy, as thy personal property and possession. Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I love
Thee; save souls! O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee.
"It is a sweet and pious belief that the infusion
of Mary's soul was effected without original sin; so that in the very infusion of her soul she was also purified from original
sin and adorned with God's gifts, receiving a pure soul infused by God; thus from the first moment she began to live she was
free from all sin." Martin Luther: Sermon, 1527
Luke 1.46: And Mary said "My soul glorifies the Lord 47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour," Mary
speaks of God as her Saviour, but she speaks in the present tense. She does not say "God, who will be my Saviour."
She has already been redeemed
If we look at one of the Old Testament passages that Mary bases
her words upon, we see this more clearly.
Isaiah 51.10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul
shall exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
As virtually every educated
1st Century Jew would have recognised, in echoing this passage, Mary clearly considered that God had already clothed her with the garments of salvation, and covered her with
the robe of righteousness. Her sin had already been wiped away.
If Mary were not sinless, Jesus could
not be called “the last Adam.” 1 Cor 15:45
"my soul magnifies the
Lord"
How does a soul "magnify" the Lord if it has any stain of sin? Why did the early fathers refer to Mary as
spotless? without stain? Mary's Immaculate Conception was a singular grace given to Her.
1 Jn 2:1 My little children, I am writing this
to you so that you may not sin.
The Bible says that Jesus is a High Priest who is "holy, harmless, undefiled,
separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens" (Hb 7:26).
How is it Enoch and Elijah could be taken to heaven prior to Christ's
sacrifice?
Luke 1.28: The angel went to her and said, "Hail, you
who are full of grace (Literally: you who have been and remain filled with Grace). The Lord
is with you."
Archbishop Fulton Sheen said, “The rosary is the book of the blind, where souls see and there enact the greatest
drama of love the world has ever known; it is the book of the simple, which initiates them into mysteries and knowledge more
satisfying than the education of other men; it is the book of the aged, whose eyes close upon the shadow of this world, and
open on the substance of the next. The power of the rosary is beyond description.”.
Fr. Joseph Mary from ewtn reminded us that Pope Paul VI, Servant of God, listed a number of fruit to praying the
Holy Rosary:
1)Teach your soul religious sensitivity ; it awakens your religious sensitivity 2)Sanctifies your youth 3)Helps
you to persevere in doing good 4)Makes those who pray it together, friends in the faith 5)Fosters contemplative prayer
6)Obtains graces for you and for others
“Mary is the fruitful Virgin, and in all the souls in which she comes to dwell she causes to flourish purity of heart
and body, rightness of intention and abundance of good works. Do not imagine that Mary, the most fruitful of creatures who
gave birth to a God, remains barren in a faithful soul. It will be she who makes the soul live incessantly for Jesus Christ,
and will make Jesus live in the soul” Saint Louis de Montfort
A Solemn Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Most Holy Virgin Mary, tender Mother of men, to fulfill
the desires of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the request of the Vicar of Your Son on earth, we consecrate ourselves and our
families to your Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, O Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and we recommend to You, all the people
of our country and all the world.
Please accept our consecration, dearest Mother, and use us as You wish to accomplish Your designs in the world.
O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and Queen of the World, rule over us, together
with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, Our King. Save us from the spreading flood of modern paganism; kindle in our hearts
and homes the love of purity, the practice of a virtuous life, an ardent zeal for souls, and a desire to pray the Rosary more
faithfully.
We come with confidence to You, O Throne of Grace and Mother of Fair Love. Inflame us with the same Divine Fire which has
inflamed Your own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Make our hearts and homes Your shrine, and through us, make the Heart of
Jesus, together with your rule, triumph in every heart and home.
Amen.
--Venerable Pope Pius XII
Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, and tender
Mother of men, in accordance with Thy ardent wish made known at Fatima, I consecrate to Thy Immaculate Heart myself, my brethren,
my country and the whole human race. Reign over us, Most Holy Mother of God, and teach us how to make the Heart of Thy
Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ reign and triumph in us even as It has reigned and triumphed in Thee. Reign over us, Most Blessed
Virgin, that we may be Thine in prosperity and in adversity, in joy and in sorrow, in health and in sickness, in life and
in death. O most compassionate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven, watch over our minds and hearts and preserve them from
the impurity which Thou didst lament so sorrowfully at Fatima. Assist us in imitating You in all things, especially purity.
Help us to call down upon our country and upon the whole world the peace of God in justice and charity. Therefore, Most
Gracious Virgin and Mother, I hereby promise to imitate Thy virtues by the practice of a true Christian life without regard
to human respect. I resolve to receive Holy Communion regularly and to offer to Thee five decades of the Rosary each day,
together with my sacrifices, in the spirit of reparation and penance. Amen. This pledge does not bind under penalty of
sin, but nevertheless it is your promise to Our Blessed Lady.

PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be
our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O
Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl
about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
